Project Summary
“This project was really challenging due to the amount of services and the technical requirements of specialist trades. As I believe growth can be reached only through challenges, I think we as a team learned a lot how to successfully deliver the project. During modelling and sheet production, service layouts were intensively monitored and extensively commented by KIER M&E design team which often included changes in coordination to meet installation preferences. Applying changes in the model required good understanding and problem solving from all team members. Utilising the knowledge we gained during covid lockdowns, 100% of project workflow took place in virtual space including the modelling, meetings, sheet commenting, issue resolution.

BIM Level 2 Compliant

Virtual Coordination
Effective coordination is critical to the BIM process. The cycle starts at the pre-design stage and continues, with the help of 3D, through detailed design during which collaboration is the key.
Laser Scanning
Accurate plans and information are essential to BIM – but there are times when limited information is available. Under these circumstances we use 3D laser scanning of an existing building or site.
Drawing Production
By providing both MEP services and MEP drawings, we work as an integrated, pro-active team, engaging with our clients to help at both the conceptual and construction-status stages of a project.
