Laser Scanning

Existing Environment / Assets

Laser Scanning is a cost effective, fast and accurate method to collect previously unimaginable amounts of data. There are millions of points captured in each scan. Amongst other uses, laser scanning can be used for capturing the existing environment geometry, to assist with future development or/and asset data capture. From the laser scans, 3D models can be created and populated with the asset data for operational and future use, such as maintenance, asset replacement, upgrading, and re-design. Having accurate information, both geometric and non-geometric is the future of construction, and using laser scanning is a way of capturing that data from existing environments.
