Project Summary
“Working on the London Designer Outlet project was an incredible experience and a true pleasure for our team at BIMTech. This project presented unique challenges, from developing comprehensive 3D virtual models for all MEP services and fire protection systems to modelling the entire structure due to the absence of supplied structural models. Our scope included coordinating every aspect of the MEP installation, right down to the bracketry for back-of-house corridors and detailing access zones for maintainable equipment. The collaborative efforts during bi-weekly BIM review meetings were vital in aligning all trade contractors and resolving potential conflicts early. Managing the Electronic Data Management System (EDMS) effectively facilitated smooth exchanges of models, drawings, and technical submittals. By producing precise 2D installation drawings, we ensured that the construction phase was as efficient and error-free as possible.”
