Project Summary
“Working on the Liverpool Exhibition Centre project has been an exceptional experience for us at BIMTech. We developed comprehensive 3D models for every aspect, from certified plant equipment and MEP services bracketry on the main plant deck, to all access zones and builderswork sleeves. This thorough approach not only facilitated precise construction but also provided easy access for future maintenance and inspection. Our ability to produce detailed 2D installation drawings and manage the Electronic Data Management System (EDMS) streamlined communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The project’s collaborative spirit, combined with advanced BIM techniques, allowed us to navigate and resolve complex challenges effectively. It was truly a pleasure to be part of a development that stands as a landmark in Liverpool, and we are proud of the innovative solutions and high standards we delivered.”

BIM Level 2 Compliant
Developed by the BIM Task Group – a government initiative – Level 2 BIM modelling standards are a major step forward on the journey toward the digitalisation of the built environment.
Virtual Coordination
Effective coordination is critical to the BIM process. The cycle starts at the pre-design stage and continues, with the help of 3D, through detailed design during which collaboration is the key.
Laser Scanning
Accurate plans and information are essential to BIM – but there are times when limited information is available. Under these circumstances we use 3D laser scanning of an existing building or site.
Drawing Production
By providing both MEP services and MEP drawings, we work as an integrated, pro-active team, engaging with our clients to help at both the conceptual and construction-status stages of a project.
