BIMTECH Engineering Secures 10 King William Street Following the Success of Holborn Viaduct

BIMTECH Engineering has been awarded the 10 King William Street project, marking another significant achievement following the successful delivery of Holborn Viaduct. This 8-storey commercial development, situated above the new Bank underground station, will provide 138,000 sq. ft of high-quality office space, including Shell & Core with CAT A floor plates.
The MEPH (Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health) systems for 10 King William Street will be integral to the functionality of this modern office space. The project’s infrastructure includes building plant in the basement and on the roof, along with localized plant on each floor for ventilation, ensuring an efficient and high-performance environment.
BIMTECH Engineering will deliver a comprehensive BIM package, focusing on MEPH coordination, clash detection, and model management. Our key responsibilities include:
- MEPH Stage 4iii/5 Installation Clash-Detected Model – Ensuring seamless integration between structure, architecture, and services
- Fully Annotated Revit-Derived Drawings – Scaled at 1:50 for general layouts and 1:20 for plant areas
- Builderswork Layouts – Developed using agreed rule sets to optimize efficiency
- Wall and Ceiling-Mounted Electrical Services Modelling – Ensuring accurate representation within the digital environment
- BIM Management – Including: Clash detection and resolution, Model management, IFC production, and compliance with project CDE, Raising and managing Technical Queries (TQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), Tracking and reporting design changes to Dornan, A full-time BIM Lead dedicated to the project, In-person and virtual coordination meetings.
Additionally, BIMTECH Engineering will provide MEPH Stage 6 As-Built Models and Drawings, ensuring a smooth transition from construction to operation.
