BIMTech Engineering’s Christmas Party: A Night to Remember
This year’s BIMTech Engineering Christmas Party was an event to remember! Hosted at Sedgley Rugby Club, which we proudly sponsor, the evening brought together team members from our offices in Manchester, Glasgow, and Szeged, Hungary, for a night of festive fun, laughter, and appreciation. The private function room was beautifully dressed for the occasion, with everyone arriving in their finest attire, ready to celebrate another successful year. From a free bar to a delicious buffet, and plenty of entertainment, the evening had something for everyone.
One of the main attractions of the night was the casino tables, where guests tried their luck with fake money to win the coveted prize: a bottle of champagne. The competition was fierce, but things took a humorous turn when Matt caught one table pooling their winnings to take the lead. After some playful banter, Matt awarded the champagne to Beth, our wonderful receptionist and event planner, as a gesture of gratitude for organising such a fantastic evening.
The excitement continued with a company-wide raffle, with every employee automatically entered. Prizes ranged from fun treats to more extravagant gifts, but the highlight of the draw was the first prize: a huge festive hamper.
The lucky winner? Dániel Mikes from the Szeged office, who faced the unique challenge of getting the oversized hamper back to Hungary. Against all odds, they managed to get it on the plane—adding a memorable story to the night’s festivities!
With a lively DJ spinning tunes, the dance floor was the heart of the evening. The highlight for many was the hilarious limbo competition, which had everyone bending (or not!) to cheers and laughter.
The evening also included heartfelt speeches of appreciation from leadership, recognizing the hard work and dedication of every team member across all three offices. It was a moment to reflect on the year’s achievements and look forward to what’s ahead in 2025.
The BIMTech Christmas Party was more than just a celebration—it was a testament to the camaraderie and teamwork that make BIMTech Engineering so special. Bringing together colleagues from three countries under one roof highlighted the strong connections we’ve built across borders.
